“I published my debut romance fantasy after working with Emily of JD Book Services. To say I had an excellent experience with her would be an understatement, especially given the level of anxiety I was feeling with an entirely new process . She combed through my manuscript, catching minor slip-ups, such as when an em dash didn’t format properly, and discovering major issues, like when I used the wrong character name entirely.
With every comment she provided, she gave a detailed explanation as to why she felt the change was needed, and it felt like the suggestions were coming from a place of helping me, the author, to better my ability to write. My book was long, but that didn’t seem to phase her or the quality and consistency of her work in the least. When she was finished with edits, the manuscript was returned to me with an extremely detailed list of items she suggested I work on, as well as areas where I excelled.
